Anyone AI's eight listings are all titled for Brazil. Four are developer roles (Full-Stack, Backend, Python, and a Software Engineering AI Trainer) that state $45 to $80 an hour. The text says consultants are paid on a per-project basis and that the hourly rates are estimates based on anticipated completion time. They ask for 2 to 7 years of professional engineering experience and advanced written English, not Portuguese. Three more are STEM roles (Mathematics, Biology and Physics) at up to $40 an hour, for about 20 hours a week (20 to 40 for physics) over two months with a possible extension. The eighth is a Quality Evaluator role for fluent English speakers at $7 to $12 an hour, for up to three months.
SME Careers has 16 programming-language engineer roles (Python, Rust, SQL, TypeScript, C and others), 5 other engineering roles, and professional roles such as Dentist, Radiologist, Attorney and Accountant. The highest ceilings are Medical Doctor (Specialist) at up to $150 an hour, and Radiologist and Attorney and Lawyer at up to $120.
Portuguese language work
Meridial has 8 Brazil listings: a Portuguese Language Specialist, a Language Alignment and Resource Partner, Paulistano and Carioca dialect specialists, and four subject specialists fluent in Portuguese (Mathematics, Science, STEM and Coding). They state $6 or $8 up to $65 an hour, with the exact rate set after evaluating your experience, expertise and geographic location. SME Careers adds a Portuguese Language Expert and a Portuguese Quality Assurance Lead. Welo Data lists a Junior Quality Coordinator for its Portuguese (Brazil) search quality project, with no pay stated, and a Session Director for a Portuguese (BR) voice recording project at $50 an hour. Mercor has a paid research study at $100 flat for a roughly 20-minute survey, for people in Brazil with financial ties to the United States, and a paid expert interview for software engineers at $100 to $120 for 45 to 60 minutes. Its third listing is a Customer Success Engineer at $35,000 to $50,000 a year, open only to people residing in Latin America. Welo Data's Ads Quality Raters (German and Italian, $7 and $6.50 an hour) require you to review ads in English and that language, and to live in Brazil. The catches
- Most of the count is one platform. SME Careers is 58 of the 91, and 46 of those say there is no immediate project: qualify and you are among the first they contact when work opens.
- Ceilings are not offers. SME Careers publishes ceilings only, and Meridial's $65 is the top of a range that starts at $6 or $8.
- The country list can be long. 45 of SME Careers' listings name the same 17 countries, of which Brazil is one, so they are not Brazil-specific work.
- Hourly figures can be estimates. Anyone AI pays per project, and its $45 to $80 is an estimate based on how long the project should take.
- Some work is not hourly. Mercor's study and interview are one-off payments, and its Customer Success Engineer is a salaried staff role for Latin America.
- The feed can carry stray numbers. Welo Data's English to Portuguese (Brazil) patent linguist shows $1 in the feed, with no unit and no rate in the text.
