On October 25, 2026 our feed held 13 live listings that require Ukrainian, from 5 platforms. 10 state an hourly rate in the feed, and 6 of those are Meridial's, one for each of six countries. It is a small market, so this is a short guide. Every number comes from the listings themselves.

Where the listings are open

The countries the listings name are Poland (4), Ukraine (3), the United States (2) and Canada (2), then Italy, Germany, Kazakhstan, Moldova and Spain with one each. 2 listings state no country restriction. Meridial's six Ukrainian Language Specialist listings are for the United States, Canada, Poland, Italy, Germany and Spain, so a speaker living outside Ukraine can still match one. Our Poland and Canada pages list the roles that name each country.

What the work is

Transcription

Braintrust's Podcast Audio Transcription Specialist role states $85, and it is careful to say what that means: the rate is paid per completed transcription hour, meaning an hour of audio, not the time you spend working, and the actual time to finish one transcription hour varies with your experience. The role is to turn Ukrainian podcast audio into accurate, formatted transcripts, identifying speakers and meeting turnaround times. The text says it is fully remote and open to candidates worldwide, although our feed tags it for Ukraine.

Evaluation and language review

SME Careers lists a Ukrainian Language Expert at up to $20 an hour, open to Ukraine, and a Ukrainian team lead who oversees quality at up to $30, open to Canada, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Poland and Ukraine. Welo Data lists a Generative AI Content Analyst for Ukrainian professionals based in Poland at $10 an hour, an AI Trainers Network listing in Poland, and an English to Ukrainian review lead for UI, marketing and product content that is open worldwide. The last two state no rate.

Recording and language specialists

AfterQuery wants Ukrainian-accented English speakers for a recording of about 15 minutes, paid at $50 flat per submission, with only 3 to 5 speakers wanted for the accent (the feed shows $30 an hour). Meridial's six listings state a range of $8 up to $65 an hour, with the exact rate set after evaluating your experience, expertise and geographic location.
