Short version
- You never need an account to browse or apply. Accounts are optional — for personalized matches, alerts and saved jobs across devices.
- If you create a profile or upload a CV, we use it to match you with jobs. You can edit or delete it any time.
- We use Google Analytics for aggregate page-view counts. That's the only third-party tracker on the site.
- Without an account, saved jobs stay in your browser's local storage. With one, they're also stored in your account so they sync.
- When you click an outbound link, you go to the destination platform. That platform has its own privacy policy.
- Companies hiring AI-training experts can see your professional profile only if you switch on “Get discovered” — never your email or CV, and we ask you before any introduction. Otherwise we don't share your data with anyone.
What we collect
Aggregate analytics. Google Analytics (gtag.js) sets cookies to count unique visitors, measure session duration, and group visits by country and referrer. We see numbers. We don't see who you are. See the cookie policy for the list of cookies and how to opt out.
Standard server logs. Cloudflare (our hosting provider) logs the IP address, user agent, and URL of every request for security and abuse-prevention purposes. We don't read those logs for marketing.
Saved jobs. If you click the bookmark icon on a job card, the job ID and your save timestamp are stored in your browser's local storage. This data never reaches our servers, and it's wiped if you clear your browser data. If you're signed in, saved jobs are also stored in your account.
Account and profile (optional). If you create an account we store your email address, a hashed password (handled by our authentication provider, Supabase), and the profile details you enter: name, country and city, profession and other fields you work in, experience, skills, languages, education, the kinds of AI-training work you've done and the platforms you've done it on, pay and work preferences, and any LinkedIn or portfolio link.
Your CV (optional). If you upload a CV, we store the file in private storage, extract its text, and use it to suggest profile details that you review before anything is saved. The file is never public; it's only reachable by you, through short-lived links. We show how we use it next to the upload button and record when you first uploaded.
Activity while signed in. When you're signed in we record which listings you view, save, dismiss or click Apply on, and whether the outbound link carried one of our referral codes. We use this to improve your recommendations and to measure which platforms our visitors apply to.
Getting discovered by companies (optional)
Companies that build AI models pay us to find subject-matter experts. If you switch on Get discovered by companies (during sign-up or in Account → Settings), we may show those companies your professional profile: your field, experience, skills, languages, education, country and city, the AI-training work and platforms you've listed, your rate and your availability.
- It's off unless you turn it on, and you can turn it off any time.
- We never give companies your email address or your CV. When a company wants to work with you, we contact you and only share your details if you say yes.
- We record when you switched it on and which version of this wording you agreed to. Turning it off takes your profile out of what we share from then on.
What we don't collect
- Payment info (we don't sell anything)
- Anything from your CV that you haven't chosen to upload
- Tracking pixels from social networks (no Facebook Pixel, no LinkedIn Insight tag, etc.)
Outbound links
Every job listing links out to the platform that posted it (Mercor, micro1, LinkedIn, etc.). When you click through, you leave our site. The destination platform sets its own cookies and runs its own tracking. We are not responsible for what happens after you click. Some links carry a referral code that identifies the click as coming from us — see the disclaimer.
Your rights
Under GDPR (Europe) and CCPA (California) you have the right to know what personal data is held about you, request its deletion, and opt out of "sales." We don't sell personal data. If you have an account, you can edit your profile, delete your CV, or permanently delete your account and everything attached to it (profile, CVs, saved jobs, activity and email alerts) from Account → Settings. We share your profile with companies only while “Get discovered” is on, and never your email or CV. To opt out of Google Analytics tracking, install the official Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or block analytics via your browser's tracker-protection setting.
Changes to this policy
We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when anything material changes. Substantive changes (e.g. adding a new third-party tracker) will be flagged on the homepage for at least a week.
