Pharmacist / Pharmacy Technician — Medication Pronunciation Reviewer

About this role

We are looking for experienced **U.S.-based Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians** to support an AI-focused healthcare project. This opportunity is ideal for pharmacy professionals with strong familiarity with prescription medications, generic and brand drug names, and standard U.S. medication terminology. ### What You’ll Do - Review short audio samples containing spoken medication names. - Evaluate whether medication names are pronounced accurately and clearly. - Score audio samples using a structured evaluation rubric. - Identify pronunciation errors, ambiguities, or inconsistencies. - Apply evaluation standards consistently across review tasks. - Participate in an initial calibration exercise to align on scoring expectations. - Complete additional review batches as project needs arise. - Provide concise feedback where clarification or correction is required. ### Ideal Background - Licensed **Pharmacist (PharmD/RPh)** or experienced **Pharmacy Technician**. - Professional pharmacy experience in the **United States**. - Strong familiarity with generic and brand-name medications commonly encountered in U.S. pharmacy practice. - Comfortable recognising and assessing medication terminology when spoken aloud. - High attention to detail and ability to distinguish subtle pronunciation differences. - Able to follow detailed rubrics and apply scoring criteria consistently. - Strong written and spoken **U.S. English** proficiency. - Experience in retail, hospital, speciality, mail-order, or other pharmacy settings is welcome. ### Preferred Qualifications - Several years of hands-on pharmacy experience. - Regular experience communicating medication names verbally with patients, pharmacists, physicians, or other healthcare professionals. - Familiarity with a broad range of therapeutic areas and medication classes. - Experience with quality assurance, annotation, clinical review, transcription review, or structured evaluation work is helpful but not required. ### Why Join - Apply your pharmacy expertise to the development and evaluation of advanced AI systems. - Contribute specialised healthcare knowledge without providing direct patient care. - Opportunity to participate in additional projects as new review work becomes available.
