Main Purpose of the Role Welo Global is seeking experienced English (en-US) to German (de-DE and de-CH) Translators and Copy Editors to support an exciting, long-term project with a leading multinational company. This is an ongoing freelance and remote position. Project Details Location: Remote Expected Volume: 5000+ words per week Employment Type: Freelance/Independent Contract Task Type: Translation, Copy-Editing, MTPE Content Types: Marketing, UI, Product, Support, Informational, Light Legal CAT Tool: Client-specific CAT tool (training provided during onboarding) Requirements Native or near-native proficiency in German (de-DE and/or de-CH) with excellent command of English (en-US) 2+ years of professional translation experience with a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field or 5+ years of professional translation experience without a formal translation degree Demonstrated experience translating English to German (de-DE and/or de-CH)   across a variety of content types, including informational, marketing, UI, product, and support content Experience using CAT tools Excellent attention to detail and a proven ability to deliver high-quality translations while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced localization environment Strong communication skills, responsiveness, reliability, and openness to feedback and revisions Join a global network of linguists, benefit from ongoing support and training, collaborate on high-visibility international projects, and build a long-term partnership with Welo Global.
