About this role

In this hourly, remote contractor role, you will work as a Senior Video Editing Quality Assurance Specialist (SME) to review and evaluate AI-generated and human-edited video content, ensuring professional post-production quality, technical accuracy, visual consistency, and adherence to project-specific guidelines. You will assess video outputs for editing quality, pacing, continuity, transitions, color grading, audio synchronization, storytelling, technical specifications, and overall production standards. You will identify editing errors, provide precise written feedback, compare multiple video outputs, and help establish consistent quality expectations across video editing and AI training projects. This role is with SME Careers, a fast-growing AI Data Services company and subsidiary of SuperAnnotate, delivering training data for many of the world’s largest AI companies and foundation-model labs. Your professional video editing expertise will directly help improve the world’s premier AI models by making their video understanding, editing, and generation capabilities more accurate, consistent, and aligned with professional production standards. Portfolio requirement Mandatory: As a part of selection process, applicants must ready to provide a working link to a professional video demo reel or portfolio that can be accessed by the SuperAnnotate team. The portfolio should demonstrate professional editing capabilities, preferably including commercial, broadcast, film, television, or advanced digital video projects.
